As Mil Faces da Liberdade na Internet (Sobre Discursos e Práticas Livro 2)
This book is the second of a trilogy dedicated to study the relationship between Internet and freedom with emphasis in the tension between the practices and discourses in the freedom-control axis. A lot of material has been written about freedom on internet, between the years of 1995 and 2002 all around the world of magazines and newspapers. Nevertheless the material that was subject of our study presents dichotomy and ambiguity as the rule. It happens especially when we confront the practitioners of real world, but the special world behind the scene. Obviously, it includes technology. The systematization of part of seven years references is presented here. We hope that it can promote a planetary version, produced by colleagues from other countries interested in productive discussion. To think critically on freedom aspects, for which most of the time we are invited only to take a position already defined to us. Normally, it occurs without reflec-tion. Only interested groups directly involved are winners in that game, with their own discourses. To talk about sex it is necessary to read Freud, at least. And of course question him. When dealing with the New Economy, it is advisable to verify the paradigms produced by the arautos. But question them. To see freedom in arts is necessary some culture about technique and philosophy. Who uses arts to question? From this meeting of freedom with your prime matter, thinking, we hope to derivate rich parameters to enrich the environment to future discussions, including ques-tions, answers, discourses and practices.
